​Hi, I’m Kori! I'm an interior designer and owner of Horizon Interior Design, a Top-Rated and Award-Winning residential studio servicing Oakland and Macomb Counties. I specialize in working with clients in transition, whether it's a new home, new marriage, empty nesting or retiring. I work with those who are building a new house, remodeling a current one, furnishing their home or adding finishing touches to a room. I am a fun-loving creator of bold interiors who helps clients rediscover their fun side and elevate their spaces to reflect this new, exciting chapter in their lives. From vibrant Midcentury to cool contemporary, glitzy Hollywood Glam to calming coastal, I collaborate with my clients to create designs that feature their unique style and personality!

I often get asked what my favorite design style is. For my own home, it is Midcentury Modern! But one thing I love about being a designer is having the opportunity to dabble in many different styles, as I design to my clients’ tastes.

I live in Davisburg with my husband & have two sons in college: one at Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!) and the other at Florida State University (Go Noles!). We moved from Rochester in 2024 to fulfill a dream of living on a lake, & are enjoying exploring all that Clarkston & the surrounding areas have to offer! My favorite activity is dancing, and I do it any chance I get. I also love exercising, boating & traveling, and snuggling with our three kitties.

I graduated from Oakland University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, and worked as a PT for 20 years. I then obtained a design degree from Baker College, and have run my dream design business for a decade now. And like in Physical Therapy, I love building relationships with my clients and guiding them through a transformation that makes a house a home!
